New Directors / New Films

We're extremely chuffed to announce that Down Terrace has been chosen for this year's New Directors/New Films screenings held in New York at the end of March.

Each year, New Directors/New Films, a co-presentation of The Museum of Modern Art and The Film Society of Lincoln Center, unveils a brand new line up of fresh faces on the filmmaking scene. The festival is now in its thirty-ninth year, and you may recognize some names that appeared in past festivals: Pedro Almodóvar, Kelly Reichardt, Atom Egoyan, Spike Lee, Richard Linklater, Sally Potter, John Sayles, Steven Spielberg, Wim Wenders and Wong Kar Wai were all featured as part of New Directors/New Films early in their careers.

Down Terrace will screen twice - Mon Mar 29: 6:15 (MoMA) & Tue Mar 30: 9:00 (FSLC) For tickets and details of all the films screening click here.

Glasgow Film Festival Screening Reviews

THE SCOTSMAN - "Brilliantly performed, and rich in detail, it's the sort of low-budget British production that is all too rare these days: something that feels effortless and is effortlessly entertaining..." Read the whole review here (scroll down article)

Drew McWeeny's Hit Fix Review

It's a very strong directorial effort for Wheatley, primarily known for British TV comedy before now, and it has absolutely put him and Robin Hill on my radar for whatever they do in the future. When Magnet releases it later this year, pay attention. It's something else.
